Rhythmic breathing can be performed to the front or side. (2). 100 yards of breaststroke using a pull, breathe, kick and glide sequence. (3). 100 yards of either front crawl using rhythmic breathing or breaststroke. These 100 yards may be a combination of both strokes. (4) Tread water for two minutes without the use of hands and arms. Arms are to be crossed with hands placed under armpits. Your head must remain above the water. (5). Starting in the water, swim 20 yards using front crawl or breaststroke, surface dive to a depth of 12 feet, retrieve a 10 pound object, return to the surface and swim back to the starting point with the object and exit the water without using a ladder or steps. This must be performed within 1 minute and 40 seconds.
